Basic Check List for Corporate Offsite

Attire


  • Track Pants or loose comfortable trousers; Preference is for trousers whose material is light and can stretch.
  • Wear loose full sleeves shirt or t-shirt of material that can breath, but does not retain liquid
  • Cap or hat with good shade
  • Wear comfortable sports shoes or canvas shoes.
  • You may optionally Carry Spare floaters or slippers.
  • Socks – carry one pairs of spare socks. (Optional)

Special Dress Code

Kindly carry items to match the theme of the day.

e.g. For Tribal Theme you may carry the following props:

Firstly get creative.

 Fancy Tribal like hair bands, colored ribbons, head gears like wigs, Body paints, jackets (that matches tribal theme),Printed t-shirts carrying tribal messages or t-shirt / shirt / tops that have a tribal looks etc. 

Let your imagination go wild.. You can probably create any tribal dress with the props given below.
You may also carry chart papers, scissors, new papers, paper ribbons, balloons, tribal masks, colours, paint brush etc..  . Also try few local adaptions (fallen leaves, branches, ropes, etc).

Personal medical Kit and Toiletries


  • Bandages - Band aid, Crape Bandage, Gauze
  •  Anti-septic cream – Soframycine and Burnol
  •  Paracitimol – Crocin
  •  Anti-Dyheration - Glucose D/C and Electrol
  •  Anti Vomit / loose motions, Anti – Allergies (optional),
  •  Mosquito / Insect repellent ointment. e.g. Odomos
  •  Pain killers and / or any other personal medication recommended by your family doctor.
  • Your medical Kit should contain your blood group and emergency phone number.

Other essentials in your outdoor survival kit

  • Hand Sanitizer
  • Torch / Flash Light
  • Hand Towel
  • Water bottle for field activities.
  •  Carry small shoulder bag for carrying your day pack

Corporate Offsite Checklist

Basic Check List for Corporate Offsite

Attire


  • Track Pants or loose comfortable trousers; Preference is for trousers whose material is light and can stretch. Avoid heavy jeans during treks or adventure sports or for any physical activities/games. 
  • Wear loose full sleeves shirt or t-shirt of material that can breath, but does not retain liquid. (Wearing thin hosiery material banyans or slips under your shirt / t-shirt is recommended). Carry 1 pair of spare shirts / t-shirts.
  • If the plan includes going to water park or swimming in pond, do carry your personal swimming costume, towel and soap.
  • Cap or hat with good shade
  • Shoes – trekking shoes or tough sports shoes or Canvas Shoes with good grip. Avoid shoes with high heels or very thick soles.
  • Carry Spare floaters, slippers, or light canvas shoes.
  • Spare clothes - one pair of spare socks, undergarments, t-shirt and pants (Optional).


    Personal medical Kit and Toiletries


    • Velbet Skin cream for ticks or insect bites.
    • Bettnovet – C “Anti Fungal Skin cream” (Useful against rash caused due to wetness and friction due to walking).
    • Bandages - Band aid, Crape Bandage, Gauze

    •  Anti-Dyheration - Glucose D/C and Electrol
    •  Anti Vomit / loose motions, Anti – Allergies (optional),

    • Kindly consult your family doctor for any personal allergies against any of the OTC / Ointments mentioned above.

    • PET Water bottle for field activities.
    •  Carry small shoulder bag for carrying your day pack
     Dos and Dont's during treks in Sanctuary: If the trek / field trip involves visiting a sanctuary like Karnala, Sanjay Gandhi National Park, Fansad etc. Few rules are to be followed strictly.

    1) Disposable Plastic Bottles and Poly / Plastic Bags or any other disposable packs not allowed inside National Park.
    2) No littering or throwing of garbage / even chocolate wraps on the forest trail.
    3) As a Eco-tourism policy we take back whatever we carry. Leave only foot prints, take only memories.
    4) During treks or physically exerting activities kindly take regular sips of water / fruit juice. Keep yourself hydrated. 
    5) Always sanitize your hand with hand sanitizer before eating. Although are aware of this most persons ignore this during treks and falling ill afterwards.


    Special instructions during normal treks

    • Trekking involves waking through beautiful but rough country side sometimes even through jungles and/or climbing hills.
    • Rule number one, stick with the group and listen to all instructions given by group leader before start of the trek as dos and donts
    • It is normal to be breathless as you start ascend a hill, reduce your pace while climbing and observe how the trekkers ahead of you are climbing and what trail are they follow.
    • Stick to the beaten trail, avoid wandering off the trail.  
    • Always ensure that you are in site of the person ahead and behind you.Do not put your hand in cracks of Rocks/Boulders as these may have hidden insects, scorpions or snakes.
    • If you have any chronic illness kindly inform the group leader before start of the trek and procedures for first aid in case of emergency. 
    • During monsoon avoid wet  spots on rocks that have green moss layer.
    • And last but not the least enjoy the trek, countryside nature and good company of your friends.

      • Small Plate
      • Mug
      • 2 meter x 2 meter plastic sheet (will be available in any hardware store)
      • Thread and Needle (Carry one large needle and one small needle)
      • Walking Cane / Trekking Pole (should be 65% to 70% of your height – strong and light)
      • Basic Magnetic compass
      •  Carry a note pad and two ball pens for your diary writing. 

      Food / Snacks (Only when instructed specifically)

      • Lunch and Breakfast – Options (Bread Indian or white; Vegetables home cooked or canned; Idlis; Boiled Eggs; Theplas; Chatni; Puran Polli; etc).
      • Other ready parcels you can pickup during breakfast (Upma, Sheera, Bread Butter / Jam).
      • 3 to 4 water bottles (1 liter each).
      • Snacks for the route – Dry Fruits; Fruits; Salad Items; chocolates; biscuits etc.

      Monsoon Special

      Essentials
      • Carry Poncho or light Rain Coat (Poncho is better as it can cover your bag too).
      • If you are into photography (Carry a small folding umbrella too, useful while taking pictures while its raining)
      • Cap or Hat (Made of Waterproof material)
      Optional
      • Gaiters (Protects your trouser / shoes against mud and water splashes)

      Backpack or Rucksack (Only when instructed specifically or for trekking offsite)


      • For a One Day Trek a 25 liters to 35 liters Backpack / Rucksack is more than enough to carry all your essential items.
      • Carry all your belongings in a backpack or rucksack with light items at the bottom and heavy stuff loaded around your shoulders level. If you have, compression straps in your bag use them to compress your luggage to make it well balanced.
