Showers and WCs are common to campers. These are well maintained to suit urban standards.

Easy Adventures offers a range of activities around camp. Some of these activities are free for our campers and some chargeable but all of them are worth the indulgence. Give your self to the experience and you'll find something within!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What exactly do i get when i rent a campsite?
You get a space furnished with a picnic table. You will also get a tent based on the number of people and sleeping kits for each person. Further this gives you access to all our amenities and common areas as well as service in the outdoors!

What if i have my own tent and no sleeping bags?
You are most welcome to bring your own equipment. We want to encourage experienced campers!. You will get a per person discount of Rs.100 for your tent and Rs.100 for your sleeping bags.

What is the weather like? Do we need to carry any special kind of clothing?
Be prepared for the outdoors. The evenings can get chilly in winter. A single sweater should do the trick. The afternoons can get warm through the year, so carry some light clothing too! Refer to our PREP KIT pdf for details on what to carry.

Are there a lot of bugs, snakes and creepy crawlies around?
You will encounter sounds and creatures of nature. They respect our presence. Watch your step in the dark and use mosquito repellent and you should be fine. Your tent is sealed to not allow any insects in. Ensure that you close the door, and you will have a pleasant night's stay

Are there electrical plug points available?
No, you could request the hosts for a place to charge your cellphones.

Is there cell phone signal?
There is very little cellphone signal only at a certain place at the campground. You cannot depend on this. We have a phone on site that you can use for short calls/emergencies. Please leave the number: 02194-205074 with your friends/family so that they may reach you. Making too many outgoing calls engages the phone which should be left available for incoming calls.

What about drinking water? Can we buy some basic supplies at the campground in case we've forgotten something?
Drinking water and Mineral water will be available at the campground.

Do you accept credit/debit cards?
We accept credit / debit cards bookings only if done minimum 4 days in advance. No credit cards / debit cards accepted at campsite.

Do you have sites so a group / corporate / education institution can camp together? Do you offer any discounts for booking the entire campground?
Contact us about group camping for 20 adults or more. We will work something out!

Do you allow dogs?/pets? What's Petiquette?

We do not allow pets at present. We will experiment with pet days. Do leave your contact details with us.

Building Snow Shelter

Option 1 - (Value Budget)

 (a)  Day 1:  Arrive New Delhi / Chandigarh. Our representative will receive the group at airport/ railway station.

Travel by Himachal State / Haryana State bus from ISBT to Bir via Chandigarh. Approx travel time 11 hours. The over night buses depart in the evening around 5 PM and reach Bir next day early morning around 6 AM.

From Chandigarh travel time is reduced by 5 to 6 hours. So Chandigarh is a better place to start and end your tour instead of Delhi.

(b) Day 2 : Reach Bir. Check into hotel. Refresh and take rest for few hours. Thereafter, walk around Bir.  Bir is a noted centre for spiritual studies and meditation . Bir is also home to a Tibetan refugee settlement with several Buddhist monasteries and a large stupa. We will visit local monasteries, tea garden etc. Night halt at Bir.

(c) Day 3 : After breakfast, we drive up to Billing (45 minutes). Billing is world famous site for paragliding. We will introduce the group to professional pilots to conduct one session on basics of paragliding. Volunteers can go for tandem flight subject to weather conditions at own expense / risk. Thereafter, we commence the trek to the Offbeat Base Camp  (3 hrs) located at 9100 ft. Trekking is one of the easiest adventure activities which can be enjoyed by one and all. All you have to do is to place one foot ahead of another !  The trail takes you through dense forest and can enjoy the views of the valley. En-route we will serve you snacks and juices.  Once you reach the base camp, you will be allotted your  accommodation. Freshen up and come over  for briefing followed by sumptuous dinner. Enjoy star gazing with hot cup of coffee. Hit the bed and have a nice sleep.

(d) Day 4 : Acclimatization :Enjoy your bed tea watching the sun rise over the mountain ranges. Try and identify the call of the birds. Trek to an ancient Hanuman Temple located on top of a hill (ht  3200 m). One can get 360° views of Dhauladhar ranges from the summit.

(e) Day 5 :  The group will be divided into two batches. One batch will  trek to alpine meadows near Palachak. This route has been used for centuries by the traditional shepherds of the Kangra Valley – the sturdy Gaddis – to accompany their flocks to the higher grazing grounds. The trail affords excellent views of the valley & Dhauladhar range. The challenging trek takes you through path less traveled by trekkers. We will go as close to the glacier as possible. Thereafter we return back to base camp. The other batch will go for rappelling and rock climbing. On completion, return back to base camp.

(f) Day 6 : The groups will be swapped and undertake activities as on day 5. Lunch will be organized at nearby village so that participants get an opportunity to enjoy the local cuisine. Will try and organize a small cultural evening around camp fire where we will showcase the local folk music and dance.

 (g) Day 7 :  Today we need to get up early in the morning and trek to the nearest road head on the other side of valley ( 1 hr 30 min). Will visit ancient Shiv Temple at Baijnath.

Depart for Delhi or Chandigarh by State Transport bus in the evening. If the destination is Chandigarh we will plan the itinerary so that we can windup the tour on same day.

(h) Day 8 : Reach Delhi early morning around 7 AM.

Special Pricing can be worked out for Student Groups.. including one free escort with every 40 students..
